Terms and Conditions

Hand Finished:
A huge amount of work goes into finishing each item of furniture, and each piece is truly unique. Please bear in mind that my pieces are vintage, professionally hand refinished items of furniture and so age-related marks, imperfections or blemishes from wear and tear over their years may be present. Such irregularities only add to each piece's individuality and character and should not be considered as damage. 
I lovingly restore and hand paint my furniture, using specialist furniture paint, hand finishing with an appropriate topcoat to provide longevity whilst maintaining the charm of the piece. 
The characteristics of my individual hand finished pieces are not the same as machine or factory finished furniture. Please do contact me if you have any questions. 

Colour Accuracy and Sizing:
Whilst I have made every effort to ensure the colours of the pieces appear as accurate on screen as possible, it is not possible to guarantee an exact colour match to real life colours due to different screen resolutions and displays. If you have any concerns, please contact me and I can arrange for a painted colour stick to be sent to you free of charge. Please also measure your space to ensure the item will fit before purchasing. 
 
Delivery:
I can arrange for professional courier delivery to mainland UK postcodes. Please contact me for a delivery price, or if you would like to order but you are based outside mainland UK.
Delivery will usually be one-man to the doorstep of the main entryway door, who may require assistance unloading into your home. If you require a two-man service or more specialist delivery, please contact me before purchasing. 
We will give you an estimated delivery date and approximate time, which is usually between 1-3 weeks, but these cannot be guaranteed in every case. However, the courier will make every effort and we always strive to ensure that customers are kept updated. For commission pieces, I will discuss a time frame of completion with you.
It is essential that pieces are unpacked and checked before the courier leaves. I take the greatest care in packing and shipping my furniture however in the unlikely event that an item does arrive damaged, or does not arrive when stated, please notify me promptly.

Refunds:
I truly hope you will love the furniture you have purchased from me, however returns are accepted for online purchases in line with UK distance selling regulations. Please notify me within 14 days of receipt of the item, and dispatch the item back to me within 30 days. You will be responsible for repacking and paying courier costs for the return and refunds will naturally be subject to the item being returned in the same condition it was sold.  Please ensure you obtain proof of delivery so that I know when to expect the item and have an audit trail should it be lost or damaged during transit.
Please note that commissioned or personalised items do not fall within these guidelines and are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged. However, I will do everything to help should there be any queries.
